Who is Euniesha Davis?

Euniesha Davis is a proven community builder who knows how to turn resources into real results for everyday people.
Raised by a single mother in a Pennsylvania town left behind by a globalizing economy, Euniesha learned early that opportunity is often shaped by zip code, not effort alone. That lived experience fuels her lifelong commitment to closing gaps and expanding opportunity at the neighborhood level.
Euniesha currently serves as Director of National Programs at AARP, where she leads large-scale initiatives that strengthen service delivery and expand outreach across the country. Over more than 15 years in public, private, and nonprofit leadership—including senior roles at United Way, The Links Incorporated, and Prince George’s County—she has secured significant grant funding, built cross-sector partnerships, and modernized systems to ensure programs are efficient, accountable, and effective. Her work consistently aligns strategy, funding, and community need to deliver measurable results.
Euniesha has a strong record of delivering for Prince Georgians.
As Director of the Prince George’s County Office of Community Relations (2019–2025), she led the modernization of the PGC311 system, cutting call response times from five minutes to just 15 seconds and reducing call abandonment rates from 19% to 2 percent. Under her leadership, county food distribution expanded from serving 300 families a year to reaching more than 45,000 residents. During the COVID-19 pandemic, initiatives such as the transformation of PGC311 into a central emergency response hub helped Prince George’s County become the most efficient distributor of emergency rental assistance in Maryland.
Previously, at The Links Incorporated, Euniesha designed and managed a multi-million-dollar national grant program supporting community-based organizations. She strengthened partnerships with government agencies, nonprofits, and corporate sponsors, led long-term strategic planning, and served as the liaison to the organization’s 283 chapters nationwide. As Senior Director of Community Impact at United Way, she continued her focus on ensuring social investments reached individuals and families most in need. Earlier in her career, she worked as a communications specialist supporting the U.S. Department of Energy and as a marketing coordinator at BBC America.
Euniesha holds two master’s degrees—from the University of Maryland Global Campus and the University of Baltimore—and a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Bottom line: Euniesha Davis brings both heart and competence—empathy shaped by lived experience, and the proven leadership skills to make institutions work better for the people they serve.
