Stronger Schools & Support
for Our Kids

Strong schools are the foundation of strong communities.

What We’ll Do

  • Stand up for teachers by pushing for fair pay and safe working conditions.

  • Fight for funding to repair or replace overcrowded and outdated school buildings.

  • Support data-driven violence intervention to give young people safe, positive places to learn and grow.

What We’ll Do

  • Work with local businesses and nonprofits to deliver material support directly to District 4 classrooms and grow the number of early childhood education programs.

In District 4, families want what every family wants: safe classrooms, dedicated teachers, and real opportunities for their children to succeed. But too many parents and educators are facing overcrowded classrooms, aging school buildings, and uneven funding that makes it harder for students to thrive.

We can—and must—do better.

Our children are curious, capable, and full of potential. They are ready to build the future of our county. They deserve great schools no matter their ZIP code—schools with modern classrooms, dedicated teachers, and opportunities that extend far beyond the school day. They deserve schools in every neighborhood that are well-resourced, well-maintained, and supported by a community that believes in them. Education doesn’t stop at the classroom door, and neither should our commitment to our kids.

As your County Councilmember, I will fight to make sure District 4 schools get their fair share of funding. That means pushing for investments to repair or replace overcrowded and outdated buildings so students can learn in safe, modern environments. It also means standing up for our teachers—advocating for fair pay, safe working conditions, and the respect they deserve as professionals shaping the next generation.

Education is strongest when the whole community is involved. I will work with local businesses, nonprofits, and community partners to bring additional resources directly into District 4 classrooms. By expanding early childhood education programs and hands-on learning opportunities, we can help children get a strong start and keep them engaged as they grow.

Keeping kids safe is part of supporting their success. I support data-driven violence intervention programs that give young people positive, structured spaces to learn, grow, and feel secure—both in and out of school.

This is about more than test scores or buildings. It’s about opportunity, stability, and investing in the future of District 4. When we invest in our schools, we invest in our neighborhoods, our workforce, and our shared future.

Strong schools build strong communities—and I will stand up for every student and every teacher in District 4.
